The Rapid Lab™ Biosafety Series is designed specifically for the containment of biological agents classified up to Biosafety Level (BSL) 3. Design features include specifically designed HVAC system with HEPA filtration, backflow prevention, durable interior finishes, and specific safety and emergency contingencies. These laboratories are designed with few options available to facilitate quick delivery and low cost. No other laboratory manufacturer can provide a safer, more durable, and user-friendly biosafety laboratory. This laboratory is available in two separate size configurations that approximate their square footage: Model 550 and Model 1100. Both models come with a wide range of standard features and equipment such as:
- Two biosafety cabinets in model 550 and three in model 1100.
- HVAC system consists of 3 wall mounted conditioning units specifically designed for BSL 3 laboratories.
- Interior finishes include epoxy flooring as well as phenolic resin wall and ceiling coverings
- Custom fabricated phenolic work surfaces.
- Metal casework.
- Copper water lines and PVC waste piping.
- Stainless steel gas piping.
