The Rapid Lab™ Vivarium Series is designed to accommodate small animal researchers who need quality animal housing quickly. Design features include a specifically designed HVAC system, lighting regulation, noise and vibration control, as well as anti-vermin measures. These laboratories are designed with few options to facilitate quick delivery and low cost. No other laboratory manufacturer can provide a safer, more durable, and user friendly vivarium. This laboratory series is available in two size configurations that approximate square footage: Model 550 and Model 1100. The Rapid Lab™ Vivarium Series laboratories provide customers with many features:
- Laboratories can be delivered fully equipped or customers can opt to install equipment from their preferred supplier.
- HVAC system consists of 3 wall hung conditioning units specifically designed for vivarium use. A split system is also available for severe noise and/or vibration requirements.
- Interior finishes include epoxy flooring, phenolic resin wall and ceiling coverings, and metal casework.
- Exterior finish includes ribbed metal siding and 60 mil rubber (EPDM) roofing.
- Rough-ins for communication and security equipment.
